The 2023 Katella Jazz Festival is now FULL.
We hope you'll join us next year for the 2024 Katella Jazz Festival!
The Katella Jazz Festival is held in Katella High School's 325-seat Royal Crown Theater which offers an excellent environment to showcase your talents, and provides an outstanding educational opportunity for the students in your program. There are competitive divisions for both Junior High School and Senior High School Jazz Ensembles as well as clinics with some of the finest jazz educators. We are proud to offer guest artist performances throughout the day as well.
The festival includes the following:
1) Awards for everyone by classification
2) Certificates for outstanding sections and soloists
3) Drum-set and bass amp provided on stage, warm-up, and clinic room
4) Spectator admission - $5.00 per division or $10.00 for the day
